The single MSL 4.1.0 coverage job took 324 of the 360 job minutes (run 38313193018). Now:

  • run_coverage(shard = (k, n)) / OMJL_COVERAGE_SHARD=k/n: every n-th model of the sorted list, so each family is spread over the shards. merge_shards and scripts/merge_coverage.jl join the shards' results, check that every model of the version is there exactly once, and write the HTML and Markdown reports as an unsharded run does.
  • coverage.yml: shards 1/2 and 2/2 run in parallel (both versions); the publish job checks that both measured the same commits, merges, and publishes docs, README section and site as before. Shared setup in a local composite action (with the MSL install), one Julia depot cache for all jobs. Standard ubuntu-latest runners only (no cost in a public repository).
  • Pull requests: smoke.yml replaces the OM.jl integration workflow (omjl.yml, 4 jobs of OM.jl's own test suite, which does not use this package): the package's tests and scripts/smoke.jl, three MSL 3.2.3 models (Blocks, Mechanics, Electrical) and one MSL 4.1.0 model through every phase, each of which must validate.
  • Checked locally: MSL 4.1.0 Thermal (16 models) as two shards of 8, merged to 16 with reports; an unrestricted merge refuses (518 of 534 models in no shard); publish_site of the merge into a temporary site; the smoke models validate (3.2.3 and 4.1.0); the smoke fails on a model that does not validate. Tests 63/63.
  • Version 0.3.0 (a feature).

The single coverage job used 324 of the 360 job minutes for MSL 4.1.0.
- run_coverage(shard = (k, n)), OMJL_COVERAGE_SHARD=k/n: every n-th model
  (shard_specs); merge_shards and scripts/merge_coverage.jl join the
results (every model of the version once) and write the reports.
- coverage.yml: shards 1/2 and 2/2 in parallel; the publish job checks they
measured the same commits, merges and publishes as before. The setup is a
local composite action (.github/actions/coverage-setup) with one Julia
depot cache for all jobs. Standard runners only.

OM.jl does not use this package, so its test suite (4 jobs) checked nothing
here. smoke.yml (pull requests, master): the package's tests and
scripts/smoke.jl, three MSL 3.2.3 models (one per domain) and one MSL 4.1.0
model through every phase, each of which must validate. The MSL install
moved into the shared setup action (input msl).
