A small, local work-task stack that opens in a compact browser app window.
Run it from any terminal with:
workitThe app prefers port 8765; if that port is already occupied, it asks the OS for a free localhost port instead. It stores tasks, the selected priority, and Lock In state in ~/.local/share/wrkit/workstack.sqlite3, so closing the window or restarting the computer does not clear the stacks or viewing configuration.
The Priority tab switches every other task tab between independent High and Low Priority stacks. Existing tasks from the original single-stack version are migrated to High Priority.
View All starts concealed each time WorkIt opens. Tick Show contents at the top of the page to display and reorder the whole stack.
During Lock In, High Priority is forced, View All is hidden, and both Deferring and drag-reordering are disabled. You can still finish work and capture new High Priority tasks. The saved priority choice returns automatically when the session expires.
Press Ctrl+Tab to move to the next available tab, or Ctrl+Shift+Tab to move to the previous one. View All is skipped while it is hidden during Lock In.
WorkIt remembers whether its window was fullscreen, maximized, or floating when last used. Floating windows reopen at their saved position and dimensions.
