Welcome to the AutoAnki repository!

The purpose of this project is to automate the creation of Anki cards using the OpenAI API, as well as the
genanki python package.

At the moment, this only automates the creation of English vocabulary cards. However, it would be fairly easy
to modify which cards are created by modifying the prompt, as well as the card and processing code.

Here's what everything does:

input/words: Contains the words that ChatGPT will create cards for. At the moment, you modify this manually.

input/prompt: The prompt that will be given to ChatGPT every time. The words will be appended at the end of this prompt.

process_text.py: The Python script that automates creating the card decks. Relies on the OPENAI_API_KEY environment
variable being configured to a valid OpenAI API key.

templates.py: Contains the templates for genanki cards. Other modules will use this templates to create cards,
as well as package them into a deck.

output/ directory: Whenever a card deck is created, the deck will be saved here as "output.apkg". The most recent
ChatGPT response will be saved as response.json, and response_log will save all of the ChatGPT responses, with
"\n<break>\n" as a separator.

requirements.txt: The dependencies of the virtual machine (venv).
