I'm Kyle, a pretty generalist developer that has done a variety of fullstack work, game modding / developement, and task automation.
- cookiecutter-robust-python - My attempt at making a worthy successor to cookiecutter-hypermodern-python that is built for adapting to changes.
- pytest-static - My pride and
joysuffering; A Pytest Plugin that allows parametrizing tests using types instead of instance sets.
- fsspec - Abstracts file handling in a way that enables handling remote files on almost any backend the same way you handle local files. No dependencies by default.
- secretspec - Abstracts secret handling in what seems to be the objectively best way, while having SDK's for most languages and backends for most secret providers.
- platformdirs - Provides OS tailored filesystem locations for common User and System scoped storage considerations.
- maturin - Python/Rust interoperability that works well together. Allows for starting in Python and only moving the parts that actually need to be performant into rust later on.
- pathlib - Builtin package but I feel it's worth mentioning because every time I see os.path it fills me with sadness. It's basically OS agnostic path handling.
- Vimium - Adds Vim controls to your web browser. Even if you don't use Vim elsewhere it is super useful.
- Selenium IDE - Selenium is already nice, but there is a browser IDE that they have which allows you to record actions and then export them to code in your language of choice.
- Json Resume - A schema for your resume that allows for building and exporting into various themes with minimal hassle.
