Dock group members can never be assigned keyboard shortcuts.

Currently, assigning a keyboard shortcut to a dock group such as Vite+ opens a default member. Instead, keyboard shortcuts should be assignable to the group's individual members. What do you think of this change?

Perhaps dock groups with members don't need a popover at all. Similar to the Nuxt dock, clicking the group could simply open the panel directly without requiring the user to choose a member. It feels simpler and cleaner.

This would be the case with "defaultChildId". In the case of Vite+ group, I am not sure if we should pick any of them as the "default" tho.

defaultChildId is optional, and I don't think Vite+ should declare one either.

My idea is that clicking a dock group should directly open an empty panel — no popover, and no member automatically selected for the user.

The same should apply to shortcuts: a key bound to Vite+ opens this empty panel instead of guessing a member, and pressing it again closes the panel.

The panel comes up with:

• The group's member rail on the left.
• A start page listing the group's members in the main area.(The start page shown here is only a demo. Listing members in the main area may conflict with the member rail on the left, as both would allow users to select members. The final design may be a simple text-based prompt.)

Or maybe when the shortcut hits the group entry that has no defaultChildId, we should use the command palette for users to select the sub docks (so it would work with keyboards). The start page you proposed could also be a good idea, but I am a bit worried that it would be a bit noisy compared to the simple popover menu when clicking.
