Reorder invoice items and Currency selector

I would like to be able to re-order the invoice items rather than having to delete/recreate to reorder them.

I also think currency should be in GBP/USD/CAD rather than 'British Pounds', 'Canadian Dollars' - it's just faster for me than looking through this kind of list. Some kind of search functionality would be ideal.

Love the app, exactly what I was looking for, can't wait to see it progress. Would love to see it develop into managing accounts more - expenses, costs, income, revenue etc. But maybe that is really beyond the scope - maybe you have a recommendation for that?

You don’t really have to delete/recreate them to change the order. Invoices are sorted by date and invoice number—both can be changed. The date can be changed in the edit form of each invoice, and the number in the toolbar bar when you click on the number there. Knowing that, would you still like a list that can be freely reordered? What do you want to achieve by that?

Using the ISO codes instead of the currency numbers makes sense—I will consider that and probably change it for the next release. Thanks for the idea. What you already can do is start typing while the currency picker menu is open to search through the list.

Yes I was referring to the items in the invoice (eg. with quantity/description/net price/ vat)

Because I wanted to order the items on the invoice according to my needs (lets say alphabetical order for example) -> however I noticed you can reorder them, however it's not obvious where to start dragging them from - it seems the line separator is the most reliable to do so.

I think a usual UI practice is the 6-dot matrix braille pattern that cues users the item can be clicked and dragged. Otherwise it's not obvious where you can do this, or you end up clicking the text field. I'm sure you can decide what is best...

Oh, now I understand! Yes, that is a known UX issue—the space in those rows is quite precious, and I haven’t come up with the perfect solution. Especially as there is no typical Mac way of showing that a row is movable, as far as I know. But yes, I definitely have to come up with something there.
