From 07c4ffe9eb74cf08d34507667f060d863db032f9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kristin Martin Date: Fri, 9 Oct 2026 20:40:08 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Lint MDX pages with Vale The only rule section matched `*.markerb` and `*md`, so no `.mdx` page has been linted since the cutover. Vale ran on every docs PR and found nothing to apply rules to. Fly.Spelling stays off until the vocabulary covers these pages. It is 663 of the 764 alerts the fix surfaces, and the words are overwhelmingly product and tool names rather than mistakes. --- .vale.ini | 4 +++- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/.vale.ini b/.vale.ini index 872d1fc1d8..adf379d5a1 100644 --- a/.vale.ini +++ b/.vale.ini @@ -8,7 +8,7 @@ SkippedScopes = script Packages = proselint, write-good, Google -[*{.markerb,md}] +[*.{md,mdx, markerb}] BasedOnStyles = Fly, Google, proselint, Vale, write-good # Fly rules that we can turn back on when other things get cleaned up @@ -18,6 +18,7 @@ Fly.Latin = NO Fly.Machine = NO # we can do an initial search and replace and then this rule will be less noisy and more useful Fly.OxfordComma = NO Fly.SentenceLength = NO # turn on later; then reduce further? +Fly.Spelling = NO # off until the vocabulary covers MDX pages: 369 unflagged-before terms, mostly product and tool names Fly.Us = NO # other style stuff turned off temporarily @@ -79,3 +80,4 @@ Vale.Terms = NO # noisy false positives: enforces vocab-term casing even inside [formats] markerb = md # maps our markerb file extension to md for linting +mdx = md # Mintlify pages are MDX; parse them as Markdown
