Dear Timothy,
I am very glad to have the chance to work in my DAW of choice with PlugData. I tried to sync it a bit with [playhead], which I got running basically, Nice! My aim is to learn how to work so to hybrid between plugdata and the DAW being in best possible sync, rather going standalone. AFAIK, the playhead is restricted to internal use inside the plugIn only (??).
A small thing occured in the plugIn setup, which I can workaround in saving projects in the standalone and reopen as a plugIn in the DAW then:
For some reason at a certain point in time the key commands are interpreted to be key commands in Logic again. Say, I would like to delete an item in the plugdata PlugIn window, Logic deletes the MIDI track containing the plugdata plugIn in the MIDI slot. So the delete command targets Logic´s key commands rather than the plugdata PlugIn window for some reason, where I could work in as intended just a moment ago.
This is not a stable behaviour and changes over time, which I can´t control myself, as it seems.
As far as I know this is called "window focus".
Maybe there is a handling error on my side. If you would look at it some time, would be nice to know about, in any case how to handle it better.
Best from
Tim
PS: All experienced in v0.9.2, just updating to .3
