Please find the Czech translation in the attached Numbers spreadsheet. (Please notice, that I’ve changed Czech translation of string for the menu Unit, to plural form in Czech intentionally, as it makes more sense here).
I’ve also included Czech translations for the help texts.
Concerning variables for Units (Czech version would need three sets of these):
- For variables showing in Hotkey bezel messages, I propose* (at least for Czech version) not to use abbreviations of units but full names of them. So the popping messages would read (with uncapitalised form of letter in names of units):
Jednotky: pixely
Jednotky: milimetry
Jednotky: palce
If I understand correctly, the user interface would benefit from an additional set of variables (in the strings you sent me, I can’t find any English variables to which I could assign these translations [i.e., in lowercase]). Using the same set of strings that you use for the menu wouldn’t be correct (in Czech, they shouldn’t be capitalized after a colon). So I suggest (at least) remapping the source texts for the messages in the Hotkey box (those would contain words with capital letters—that wouldn’t be a problem for now) or (better yet) creating a new set of strings (and using lowercase words).
- I assume it would be helpful (more informative for the user) even in English version, but you know, just saying.

There are three variables (for Unit menu and only for it, reading Pixels Millimeters Inches) that I translated accordingly (with Uppercase initial letters). It’s correct and these are within the attached file.

There’s another set of variables with abbreviations of the units (that, I believe, shows in the ruler itself). These are within the attached file as well.
So to summarize it – Czech UI should (ideally) read:
