Nextcloud Client refuses to conntect because the return URL is not HTTPS

I get the following error when I try to log into my Nextcloud server using the Nextcloud client:

"The returned server URL does not begin with HTTPS, even though the login URL begins with HTTPS. You cannot log in because this could pose a security risk."

How do I force HTTPS?

this is a better question for nextcloud as we do not support their application or client, we support the container. I would suggest starting with their documentation though.
