Feature request: Provide a Linux / macOS command line client

I have my own OpenSpeedTest server running in the cloud. I would like to perform regular automated tests from one of my home systems and capture the results. For this I need some kind of command line client. Does such a thing exist? If not could you please consider providing one. I need it on macOS (and if possible Linux too).

Hi, it's been a thing that has been requested since the start of this project, and there has been basically been made no progress at all on that and even on OpenSpeedTest. The last update was from 2 years ago. Here is the issue for adding the CLI tool(since 2021): #2
At this point I might create a fork of this project and make a headline of this tool again.
It hurts to see a project to be just left like this without any updates. I see a lot of people that use it, yet most of them that I talk about this project say that there are features missing like this CLI tool, history of tests, a Python API, etc...

EDIT: You can use Iperf3 to make the tests via CLI. There are a ton of tutorials. It just doesn't have a WebUI out of the box.

EDIT 2: LibreSpeed seems to have an CLI tool.
