Create shortcut button is broken on Linux

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems

Describe the bug

I tried to create a modpack shortcut on my desktop; it made a file but it doesn't work/open, it also doesn't show up on the desktop itself but does in the files app

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to modpack
2. More options (3 dots in the top right)
3. Create shortcut
4. Name it and save to desktop
5. The bug

Expected behavior

On my windows pc it works but not on linux
