Which Microsoft Graph resource is this request for?
Support Microsoft Entra Application Proxy configuration as a Microsoft Graph Bicep type.
This request relates to configuring Application Proxy settings for Entra applications / service principals, including publishing on-premises applications via Entra ID.
Value
How is the new Microsoft Graph Bicep type helpful? What scenarios would you use it for?
Application Proxy is a core Microsoft Entra feature used in enterprise and hybrid environments.
Currently, Application Proxy configuration cannot be expressed using Microsoft Graph Bicep, which prevents fully declarative and repeatable Entra application deployments.
Supporting this would enable:
- End-to-end infrastructure-as-code for Entra applications
- Consistent DEV / TEST / PRD deployments
- Removal of manual, post-deployment configuration steps
- Better alignment with enterprise landing zone and DevOps practices
