European date formating not working

Hi,

I am using the plugin version 1.4.4 on VSCode 1.104.1

Following the documentation https://docs.markwhen.com/syntax/header.html#date-formatting and examples like this https://docs.markwhen.com/syntax/dates-and-ranges.html#relative-dates

But the European formatting is really not working

Doesn't look like the result in the official documentation

The .mw file is encoded in UTF-8, with CRLF line ending, hosted on a Windows 11 computer.
