Onboarding request: io.github.Thx93/weather for GitHub MCP Registry
#3529
Name: io.github.Thx93/weather (NWS Weather)
Repository: https://github.com/Thx93/mcp-weather-server
Remote: https://agent-evidence-api.thx93.workers.dev/weather/mcp (streamable HTTP)
Auth: none required. initialize, tools/list and the health tool are free and anonymous; a get-alerts or get-forecast call is paid per call in USDC on Base over x402 and answers HTTP 402 with the price and payment requirements. No account or API key. The same server also runs locally over stdio.
Registry: active in the official MCP Registry — io.github.Thx93/weather, version 1.0.0 is latest
Docs: https://github.com/Thx93/mcp-weather-server
License: ISC
What it does: get-alerts returns every active National Weather Service alert for a two-letter US state code (event, area, severity, official instruction) and get-forecast returns the next five forecast periods for a latitude/longitude. Both tools are annotated readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false, idempotentHint: true, openWorldHint: true. US locations only; data is the NWS public API.
Requesting onboarding so the server is listed at github.com/mcp and reachable from the VS Code MCP gallery. Happy to answer anything the review needs.
