FP_CrLfDisplay_Callback_v1_3.py

# PythonScript that modifies Cr and Lf characters display, reducing their size (Notepad++ CALLBACK)

# Tested with Notepad++ 7.8.2 64 bits, with PythonScript plugin 1.5.2
# on Windows 8.1 64 bits (NOT tested with Notepad++ 32 Bits but should be compatible)
# /!\ this file uses TABS for indent /!\ (better read as 4 chars wide tabs)

# re-run the script to change the CR and LF graphics widths
# change the *options values* (just below) to choose the widths applied on script startup

# *options values* *********************************************************************************
# set options to an INTEGER >= -1 (allowed values : see below)
i_start_width_cr	= 1 # width of the CR graphic (carriage return : \r)
i_start_width_lf	= 0 # width of the LF graphic (line feed : \n)

# allowed INTEGER widths values :
	# width = -1	hides CR/LF : CR/LF will not appear, even with 'Show Symbol End of Line/All Characters'
	# width = 0		makes CR/LF zero char long			: like a small vertical bar |
	# width = 1		makes CR/LF one char long			: as C/L
	# width = 2		makes CR/LF two chars long			: normal Notepad++ display, as CR/LF
	# width > 2		makes CR/LF this width chars long	: as CR/LF with a larger width
