Thank you for your interest in contributing to OpenAPI Generation (the "Project") by Speakeasy API. By signing this Contributor License Agreement ("CLA"), you agree to the following terms:
- "You" means the individual or entity making a Contribution to the Project.
- "Contribution" means any work of authorship, including the original version of the work and any modifications or additions to that work, that is intentionally submitted by You to the Project.
- "Project" means the OpenAPI Generation project maintained by Speakeasy API.
You hereby grant to Speakeasy API and its licensees a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Contribution, and to permit persons to whom the Project is furnished to do so, under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0) or other licence terms chosen by Speakeasy API, including commercial and proprietary licences. This grant expressly includes the right to relicense and sublicense Your Contributions under those terms. You retain ownership of Your Contributions; this agreement grants rights and does not transfer copyright ownership.
You hereby grant to Speakeasy API and its licensees a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Contribution, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contribution(s) alone or by combination of Your Contribution(s) with the Project.
You represent and warrant that:
- You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
- Each of Your Contributions is Your original creation and/or You have sufficient rights to submit it under these terms.
- Your Contributions do not, to Your knowledge, violate any third party's copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
- If Your employer has rights to intellectual property that You create, You represent that You have received permission to make the Contributions on behalf of that employer, or that Your employer has waived such rights.
You provide Your Contributions on an "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
You acknowledge that the Project is made available to the public under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You also authorise Speakeasy API to license, relicense and sublicense Your Contributions, alone or as part of the Project, under other licence terms of its choosing, including commercial and proprietary licences and including for a fee, without requiring further permission from or payment to You. This additional licensing authority does not revoke or restrict rights already granted to recipients under AGPL-3.0 or override licence terms applicable to third-party material that You are not entitled to license under this agreement.
This CLA will remain in effect for all future Contributions You make to the Project, unless You provide written notice to the Project maintainers revoking this agreement for future Contributions (such revocation will not affect past Contributions).
By commenting "I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA" on the pull request, You are signing this CLA electronically and agreeing to its terms.
