I also tried displaying the doneIconButton and cancelIconButton, and I found that the internal layout checks for these two buttons were being blocked.

That's correct. _showOnlyIcons is set to YES on iOS 26 and the _doneTextButton and _cancelTextButton buttons are deliberately disabled in 26.

I tried your code and it was fine:

This is quite strange. I set cropController.toolbar.showOnlyIcons = true, but it always returns false. My phone is running iOS 26.4. Version 2.8.0 works fine, but versions 3.2.0 and 3.1.0 don't show any cancel or finish buttons.

I can't install Xcode 16 on this Mac. I'll have to use a different Mac.

The library uses #ifdef to try and maintain backwards compatibility with Xcode 16 but I definitely didn't test it so there might be bugs.
