A number of groups have iconic icons which help identify them at a glance.
Perhaps another data point to capture is a URL to a user group's icon. I'm suggesting a URL so that you don't end up having to maintain a library of images in the repo. The counter point to this is dead images if the remote end goes offline.
Not sure how easy it is to pull off, but the image could then be included in the rendered PDF.
Only other potential negative I could see while thinking this through is the need to vet images in case of something inappropriate being linked... but ours is a good community and I don't foresee that happening intentionally.
