Hello! You're always welcome to PR any change, and I don't think any one of us has anythihng against AI assisted code. It depends on what it is and how much it is but will be reviewed as anything else! If you find bugs it's always appreciated if you file an issue and if you have a fix a PR is even better! We can discuss in the PR if you create one and then it will be easier to see and reference code as well! |

Hey everyone, before cluttering up GitHub, I wanted to check with you and share a short list of bugs I reported a few days ago while installing the display. This is very specific to one line, so I understand if you don’t worry too much about it since it’s not a major bug.
Here’s the list:
At French stations, IDFM Paris, and stations connected to the RER A, the direction labels use 4-letter codes that the average Parisian isn’t familiar with at all. In the old version of the app, it displayed the full names of the terminal stations/cities (which is more meaningful).
The north/southbound system doesn’t work with this line, since it runs west to east.
If you’d like, I’ve patched these two minor bugs using some vibe-coding. Let me know if you’d like me to send you the code, despite Claude’s involvement. Or we can just discuss it to see how I fixed them, so you can implement the fixes properly on your own. That said, I completely understand if you don’t want to be spammed with snippets of my quick-and-dirty code from Claude.
