Open Update dialog shows "Cannot launch a new installer until the previous one has finished"

Problem description

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Addon Manager
2. Open Updates dialog
3. close Updates dialog by clicking the X button of the window (instead of the "Close" button at the bottom)
4. Try to open again

Expected behavior

Closing the window should behave exactly as closing via "close" button

Actual behavior

it seems the close button performs additional steps to toggle a state between window is open / closed. And closing the window via window-close button does not trigger the same state change as does the dedicated "Close" button
