Codeman 1.34.0 is out. It's a bigger one than usual. You can get alerts on your phone through a webhook, sync MCP servers across your CLIs and give a session an advisor model, plus tab groups in the vertical rail, IME preview on iPhone and a Shift+Enter fix a lot of you have probably hit.
Get alerts on your phone without a browser open. Settings, Notifications, Webhook sends the same alerts as Web Push (permission prompts, questions, errors, idle) to ntfy, Slack, Discord or any URL that takes JSON. That way a headless box can still ping your phone when an agent needs you. It's off by default. The URL is treated as a secret: it's stored in its own file, the API never hands it back, and it can't be pointed at cloud-metadata or link-local addresses. Thanks @opticon454.
Sync MCP servers between your CLIs. If you set up an MCP server in Claude Code and want it in Codex, Gemini, OpenCode or Antigravity too, Settings, Agents & CLIs, MCP servers can preview and copy the missing ones over. It only ever adds, never edits or removes, keeps a backup of every file it touches, and checks the result parses before writing it. It's opt-in, so nothing touches your other CLIs' config until you turn it on. That one's from @opticon454 too.
Give a session an advisor. Claude Code has an experimental advisor tool: the main model asks a stronger one for a second opinion at the big decision points. A Sonnet session with an Opus or Fable advisor is a nice middle ground on cost. You can now set a default in App Settings, Models, Advisor, or pass
advisorModelwhen you create a session over the API. Agents using the codeman skill can give their workers one withCODEMAN_WORKER_ADVISOR=opus./advisorstill changes it inside the session.Pick the model per session over the API.
POST /api/sessionstakes amodelnow, so a script can start one Claude session on Fable and the next on Sonnet without writing anything into the project folder. Codex sessions take a reasoning effort the same way (codexConfig.reasoningEffort). Thanks @irisitymichaelgrundberg for both.Tab groups in the vertical rail. If you've got tab groups (the tab-layout API), the vertical rail now shows them as sections you can collapse. A collapsed group still lights up red or yellow when something inside it needs you, and the whole thing works from the keyboard with arrow keys. If you don't use groups, nothing changes. Editing groups in the browser is in review in #525. Thanks @aakhter.
See what you're typing in Japanese, Chinese or Korean on iPhone. On iOS Safari the text your keyboard is still composing used to stay invisible until it committed, so you were typing blind. It shows up in the terminal now, right where it'll land. This one's also from @aakhter, who stuck with it through three review rounds.
Shift+Enter adds a line instead of sending. The terminal only swallowed the keydown, so the browser's follow-up keypress still sent Enter and your half-written prompt went off. Fixed in the main pane and the split view, thanks to @opticon454. While chasing it they also added a Key tester under Settings, Terminal & Input, so you can see exactly what your browser reports for a key.
Smaller fixes. Sessions started at the same moment (a few workers at once, say) no longer quietly fall out of tmux, which meant they didn't survive a server restart. And in split view, the second pane keeps painting while it pulls history, with the "disconnected" line always staying at the bottom. Thanks @timkjr for that one.
